Coco Kornspan is a passionate advocate, mental health professional, and youth mentor dedicated to creating lasting impact in underserved communities. Raised in Northeast Los Angeles, Coco brings a deep understanding of the systemic challenges that lead to justice-involvement for young people. She attended California State University, Los Angeles (CSULA), where she developed a strong foundation in psychology and social justice.
Coco is committed to building equity for all youth and communities in Los Angeles, with an emphasis on girls and gender-expansive young people who are impacted by generational systemic harm and gender bias. Her work is gender-responsive and rooted in authenticity, compassion, and a deep belief in the potential of every individual. Coco has provided direct support, mentorship, and advocacy to help young people find stability, purpose, and opportunity for several decades. Her work in the mental health field spans both clinical and community-based settings, focusing on trauma-informed care, empowerment, and holistic healing.
