About me

Originally from Northern California, I’m a proud mother of five and grandmother of two, now making a home in Los Angeles since 2024. For as long as I can remember, my drive has always been rooted in helping others—standing up for what’s right, even when it’s not easy. My professional journey has centered on prison reform and reentry, where I’ve spent years advocating for fairer policies and building pathways of support for those coming home. Working with system-impacted youth isn’t just a job for me—it’s a calling. I believe every young person deserves to be seen for their potential, not just their past, and I’m committed to providing guidance, mentorship, and hope in communities where it’s needed most.

Beyond my work, I lean on firsthand experience as a mother and grandmother. Family shapes my perspective, giving me insight and empathy that guide my approach to advocacy and outreach. In every role—whether connecting families to resources, standing up at community events, or working with public agencies—I strive to make a meaningful difference, one person at a time. My goal is to help build a society where everyone has the chance to succeed, and to keep doing the work until we get there.
